I have assigned a book on Epic about a brave girl named Malala from Pakistan who embodies hope. When she grew up in Pakistan, girls were not given as much opportunity to go to school as boys. Eventually, they were not allowed to go to school at all. Malala reached out to world leaders to make a change and give all kids an opportunity to go to school, whether they be boys or girls.
