Good morning boys and girls!

Today we start celebrating Catholic Education Week virtually. This year's theme is "Igniting Hope". Each day you are invited to reach out to others with a message of hope! Today, it's your family's turn! Draw a picture of something you love to do with someone in your family and surprise your loved one with it!

I also invite you to watch the following read-aloud video of Emmanuel's Dream: The True Story of Emmanuel Ofosu Yeboah. It is an inspiring story of hope and it takes place in Ghana, Africa. There is even some very upbeat African drumming that accompanies the read-aloud which really helps set the African mood. Emmanuel's determination reminds me of a Canadian hero who demonstrated similar strength. Can you figure out who?
