Language: We are going to continue exploring text features today. If you didn't get a chance to watch yesterday's video about text features, click this link to watch it now: What are Non-Fiction Text Features? Text Features are important because they help the reader to quickly find important information.Two other text features that weren't mentioned in yesterday's video are headings and subheadings.

Now I would like you to read the article below about blue whales and fill in the blanks to label the appropriate text features. These are ginormous animals. They are around 30 metres long (longer than two school buses).The blue whale has a mass of around 6,000 kids your age - that is mind boggling!
