Language:
Today you are going to work on a final piece of persuasive writing. Here is an anchor chart of how to be successfully persuasive. It is always a good idea to include at least three reasons in your writing.

Here is a list of possible persuasive writing topics. Choose one of them. You can choose to write your paragraph as a letter to someone (Dear Ms. Wills, Dear Mom, etc.) or as a paragraph. If you have another topic in mind (Why Skylanders are the best, Why LEGO is more fun than Barbies..), go for it!
  • All classrooms should have a class pet
  • There should be no homework
  • People should be fined for dropping litter
  • Convince your family why you need a new pet
  • Imagine in the future, you can live on land or water, which one would you choose and why?
  • You can choose one superpower to help others: fly or stop time. Which one do you choose and why?

Enjoy your weekend!
