Good morning!

Today we are going to take a break from persuasive writing and explore three homophones: words that sound the same but have different spellings and meanings.


I would like you to use this helpful poster to complete the following worksheet:



 I also added an assignment to your books on Epic Books . It's called Animal Jokes and many of the jokes use homophones as their punchlines. You will be a comedian at the dinner table tonight! Here is an example:

  • Why did the lamb run over the cliff? He didn't see the ewe-turn!
