▫On Friday, the primary classes will be participating in "Maker Mobile" workshops given by the Engineering Department of the University of Ottawa. The Grade 3 classes will be participating in a 3D printing workshop. Here is a brief outline of what we will be doing:

In this interactive workshop, participants will have the opportunity to create their own 3D model in small groups using Tinkercad, a user-friendly 3D modeling software. Next, they will turn their virtual models into a reality using 3D printers. An overview of the technology and its multitude of uses will also be covered in order to demystify these tools.
