Addition and Subtraction Games!

The students got the opportunity to review their addition and subtraction facts today as well as on Monday by playing some fun games with dice!

Jerseys for Terry Fox!

Sox for Fox was a hit today! Tomorrow is "Jersey Day"  as well as the Student vs. Teacher Basketball Game at 12:30! 

Place Value Test on Friday!

The students brought their yellow Math duo tangs home tonight. They are to review the sheets and the Practice Test that they wrote last Friday. They will be writing the actual test this Friday. They are asked to bring their duo tangs back on Friday! Thanks!

OUCH Recounts!

We have been learning about how to write a personal recount. The students have been working on linking their sentences together using transition words and to include topic and closing sentences in their paragraphs. Here is a helpful anchor chart in the class as well as a list of useful transition words!

Welcome to the 3W class blog! We have had an excellent first few days of school. Here are most of the dancing giraffes the kids created, inspired by the book "Giraffes Can't Dance". A few are not up yet as they still need some finishing touches. I will post them tomorrow!
